WE SHALL OVERCOME: An Album Cover
This album was inspired by the events of the Black Lives Matters (BLM) protests during the summer of 2020. The response from the community, from these events, were heartbreaking to many within the African American community. This album consists of songs to uplift spirits and to keep hope within their hearts during times of turmoil. As part of the African American community, the need for the BLM protests was heartbreaking to me. The imagery for this album is completely hand drawn to emphasize how personal this issue is to me and the community that I hold so dear. Each song was deliberately chosen to encourage those who listen to it.
